The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Haddi has been released. The film also stars Ila Arun, Mohammad Jeeshan Ayyub, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sridhar Dubey, Rajesh Kumar, Vipin Sharma and Saharsh Shukla along with Anurag Kashyap in lead roles. This hard-hitting noir revenge drama Akshat is directed by Ajay Sharma. Bone produced by Zee Studios and Anandita Studios will premiere on 7 September 2023 on ZEE5.
Set against the backdrop of NCR, Gurgaon and Noida, the film takes viewers on a journey of revenge, giving a glimpse into the life of Haddi, a budding transgender played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who moves from Allahabad to Delhi to join a gang. Fans have been eagerly waiting for this teller ever since the makers showed Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s never-before-seen transgender avatar.
Regarding the bone, Anurag Kashyap said, ‘I am proud of Akshat and the effort he has put into making the bone is amazing. Akshat has worked with me as AD (Assistant Director) for many years. Bone is angry, passionate, full of revenge and drama and is something that has never been seen before. Also, fans will love Nawaz in this unknown but kind character as he has once again outdone himself.’
