SSC CGL Vacancy 2023: Through the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2023, 8440 posts will be filled in various Ministries, Offices and Departments of the Central Government. Staff Selection Commission has uploaded the final vacancy details. The commission released the advertisement for this recruitment on April 3. At that time the potential number of vacancies was said to be 7500. In which about one thousand posts have increased. Out of the final 8440 posts, maximum 2389 posts are for Inspector CGST and Central Excise in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). It includes 1197 unreserved, OBC 364, SC 430, ST 202 and EWS 196 posts. After this recruitment will be done for 1102 posts of Accountant in Controller General of Accounts. It includes Unreserved 456, OBC 302, SC 157, ST 73 and EWS 114 posts.
The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2023 Tier-I examination from July 14 to 27. Answer key has been released. 24,74,030 applications received for CGL 2023. CGL exam is conducted for recruitment to Group B and Group C level vacancies in various Ministries, Departments, Institutions of Government of India.
In Tier-I, 51 per cent candidates appeared in the exam held in 15 cities of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Prayagraj and Jhansi recorded the highest attendance of candidates in the examination. In Prayagraj 57.80 percent and in Jhansi 55.41 percent candidates appeared for the exam. A total of 6,61,182 candidates applied from Madhya Pradesh. Out of them only 3,38,299 candidates appeared for the exam. On the other hand, out of 173394 candidates registered for the examination in various cities of Bihar, 91372 i.e. 52.70 percent candidates appeared for the examination.

CHSL (10+2) Level Examination, 2023 (Tier II) will be conducted on November 2. Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying and Contracting) Examination, 2023 (Paper-II) will be held on 4 December. Delhi Police Sub-Inspector and CAPF Exam, 2023 (Tier-II) will be held on 22 December 2023.
