SSC GD Constable Bharti 2023-24: SSC has announced the new recruitment of GD Constable. As per latest SSC calendar, new recruitment notification for GD Constable posts in CAPF, NIA, SSF and Riflemen in Assam Rifles will be released on 24 November 2023. For this, you can apply by visiting ssc.nic.in till 28 December 2023. SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2023-2024 will be conducted in February 2024. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages
The examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable GD in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will now be conducted in 13 regional languages apart from Hindi and English. With this decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs, lakhs of candidates appearing for the GD Constable recruitment exam will be able to take the exam in their mother tongue. This will increase their chances of selection.
Eligibility – 10th pass youth can apply for constable recruitment. Age limit will be 18 years to 23 years. The maximum age limit will be relaxed by three years for OBC and five years for SC ST category.
Selection – There will be a written test (computer based) first. Successful candidates will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PST).
The written exam will ask questions related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi subjects. 20 questions each will be asked from all four sections. All sections will be of 40 marks each. The duration of the paper will be 60 minutes. Half marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Male Candidates in Physical Test Male candidates will have to run 5 kilometers in 24 minutes during physical efficiency test. Apart from this, the 1.6 km race also has to be done in 6.5 minutes.
