Bollywood actor Sunny Deol’s bungalow will not be auctioned now. Bank of Baroda (Bank of Baroda) has withdrawn notice for auction of Sunny Deol’s Juhu villa. The public sector bank cited technical reasons for withdrawing the notice. Earlier, according to the bank’s notice, Sunny Deol owed a total of Rs 55 crore 99 lakh 80 thousand 766 plus interest from 26 December 2022. The reserve price of the bungalow was kept at Rs 51.43 lakh.

Bank of Baroda said in a notice issued on Monday that the e-auction notice dated August 19, 2023 regarding the sale of property of Ajay Singh Deol, also known as Sunny Deol, has been withdrawn due to technical reasons. A senior Bank of Baroda official said the payment issue would be resolved, but did not give a timeframe or timeline for this.

Sunny Deol is a BJP MP from Gurdaspur seat in Punjab since 2019. He defeated the then Congress leader Sunil Jakhar. Actor Vinod Khanna was a BJP MP from this seat for a long time.

Dharmendra and Bobby Deol are guarantors
According to the Bank of Baroda notice, Sunny Deol’s loan has Dharmendra and Bobby Deol as guarantors. Apart from this, Sunny Deol’s company Sunny Sounds Private Limited Corporate is also a guarantor. According to Sunny Deol’s affidavit in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he has a liability of Rs 53 crore. At the same time, he has assets of more than 87 crore rupees. Sunny Deol has also given a loan of more than three and a half crore rupees to his father Dharmendra.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has questioned this decision of the bank. He tweeted, ‘Yesterday afternoon the nation came to know that Bank of Baroda has put BJP MP Sunny Deol’s house in Juhu up for e-auction. Because he has not paid 56 crore rupees to the bank. This morning, in less than 24 hours, the nation learned that the Bank of Baroda had withdrawn the auction notification for ‘technical reasons’. Wondering what caused these ‘technical reasons’?”
