Sushmita Sen is very active on OTT these days. He received a lot of appreciation for the web series ‘Arya’ and now his second web series ‘Tali’ has released. His strong acting is being discussed in this. Sushmita has played the role of a transgender activist. In relation to the web series, he is currently busy with promotions. Sushmita revealed that she always turns up on set on time and packs up on time. Due to which many actors of the industry had to face difficulties. Which includes ‘Khan’ actors of Bollywood. He stated that he has been punctual since the beginning.
Used to follow rules
When Sushmita was asked about the tough early days of her career, she revealed how A-list actors faced problems. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sushmita says, ‘When I came into the industry, it seemed like if you were working with a Khan or a big A-lister, don’t talk about shifts or how many days you could shoot. Have just film I talked about 8 hour shifts. Will give 10 hours including hair and makeup. I will arrive on time and leave on time. Even today I follow this rule. I will never be late but on time. Due to this attitude everyone is having problem. Do you understand what you are? Who does such a thing?
Sushmita continues, ‘Then a filmmaker signed me on those terms because he realized that I was saving production costs because everything was happening on time’.
Many call it attitude
Sushmita mentioned the film ‘Ankhe’ which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. Everyone used to be present on the set but would leave after completing the shift timing. Sushmita said, “I used to keep my hands folded as if my shift was over. It was not to offend anyone but to maintain discipline. That also backfired and many people said it was ‘difficult to work with’. Not saying come on time. You wait 6-6 hours for hero. Then no one was saying. I was waiting with full hair and makeup but it was 6 o’clock so it was time for me to pack up. That caused people to face trouble. was
Sushmita says that even today, even after 30 years, people still respect her. You should be on time.’
