Gas cylinders illegally brought into passenger compartment, causing fire: Southern Railway
Madurai:
A major accident has occurred near the Madurai railway station in Tamil Nadu. According to Southern Railway officials, the tourist coach of the Lucknow to Rameswaram train caught fire. So far 8 people have died and 20 people have been injured in this accident.

According to Southern Railway officials, the fire broke out when the train was stopped at Madurai Yard Junction in the morning. The passengers then entered the coach illegally with gas cylinders. It is being said that the train caught fire due to this cylinder. A video of the fire in the train has also surfaced, in which a fierce fire is seen in the coach. Also some people are shouting around. The fire department reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a lot of effort.
