In the final match played against Australia, India won the gold medal by recording a big victory by 9 wickets. India stopped the Australian team by making 114 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. After this, the revised target of 42 runs was achieved in 3.3 overs and proved kingly.

The Indian women’s blind cricket team made it to the finals of the IBSA World Games on the back of a brilliant performance. Even in the title match, the team showed a strong performance and in a one-sided match, the Australian team was considered powerful. The Australian team came out to bat first and scored 114 runs in 20 overs against India for the loss of 8 wickets. A revised target of 42 runs was set against Team India based on the Luckworth-Lewis rule in the rain-interrupted match. The Indian team in top form achieved this target in just 20 balls.
