New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI has selected the 15-member Team India for the World Cup to be held in India. A senior selection committee meeting was held after the match against Pakistan in Kandy on Saturday, in which the World Cup squad was selected. According to a report in Indian Express, KL Rahul who is struggling with injury has managed to make a place in this team but Sanju Samson has not got a place. As the second wicketkeeper, Ishan Kishan has also been included in the World Cup squad.
Let us tell you that Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar went to Sri Lanka and along with captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid, he selected the Indian team for the World Cup on Saturday late night. The meeting took place after the India-Pakistan Asia Cup match in Kandy, which was abandoned after the first innings.
