Kaif Khan, an 18-year-old boy from Shiva Batesa, a small village in Imamganj block, one of the most Naxal-affected areas of Bihar, will spread his talent in Mumbai. Kaif has been selected in the top 30 of Saregamp. Neeti Mohan, Himesh Reshammiya and Anu Malik are also crazy about her voice.
The journey was not easy
The journey from a small village in Guyana to Mumbai has not been easy for Kaif Khan. Started singing at the age of 12. In those days he also used to do stage shows. In 2017, he sang in the Zee TV show Little Champ and made it to the top 40. After this, family members’ expectations of him increased and he was asked to learn music there. To learn musical knowledge, Kaif Khan moved to Patna at the age of 14 and studied classical music there for 3 years.
Used to travel 200 kilometers every week to learn music
Taught 2 days a week and traveled 200 kilometers every week from a small village in Gaya to Patna and back home. He had to struggle a lot during this period. He started living in a rented house in Patna to learn music. During this time, he started doing many small and big stage shows. Then in 2019, he was selected in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ji Ganga. He finished second there. After that I got an opportunity to sing in many big shows.
More than 9 lakh contestants participated in Saregump
Became the winner in Radio City held in Bihar last year. Since then his desire grew and he dreamed of doing something big. After which she auditioned for Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and got selected. Ranked in the top 30. More than 9 lakh participants appeared in Saregump, from which the top 80 were selected. After four rounds of auditions, they have been selected in the top 30. All set to rock TV in the coming days.
Neeti Mohan, Himesh Reshammiya and Anu Malik praised
During the audition, people liked her song a lot. The judges of the show Neeti Mohan, Himesh Reshammiya and Anu Malik were very happy with her song. He forced them to bow down. Speaking to Local 18, Kaif said that the judges of the show looked very happy while singing the song and said that your tone and the throw of the song is very good. Now he wants to shine the name of his area by becoming the winner of this show. He said we come from an area where people don’t know the meaning of music.
