During an interview with BBC UK, Sunny Deol shocked everyone by saying how she had to go through a period of struggle after the success of ‘Gadar’. The film ‘Gadar’ directed by Anil Sharma was released in theaters in 2001 and proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. Sunny Deol also revealed that he is not getting much work after the film Ghadar.
After the success of ‘Gadar’, good work did not come
Sunny Deol said during the conversation, ‘There was no problem before Gadar. Even when ‘Gadar’ was praised by everyone, I wasn’t getting much work. When asked the reason behind this, Sunny Deol said that the world is changing and the Hindi film industry is becoming Bollywood. Sunny argued that at that time the corporators took over and then I did not get a single project. Now I can talk about it.

Sunny Deol went on to say that when he looks back, he realizes that he still exists today because of the work he did earlier. He said, ‘After Gadar I am not doing any good work. I was not part of any popular cinema. Sunny Deol said that he has never worked with big people or big companies as he has nothing to do with them.

Let us tell you that the earnings of Sunny Deol’s film ‘Gadar 2’ are continuing at the box office. The film has entered the third week and has collected Rs 13.75 crore on Saturday. Thus Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ has done a business of Rs 439.95 crore in India so far. Trade pundits are of the opinion that the film could enter the 500 crore club very soon. Now it remains to be seen whether this film can create such a record. ‘Gadar 2’ is directed by Anil Sharma and stars Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur and Manish Wadhwa in lead roles.
