Born on 24 November 1981, Celina was born into a Punjabi family in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Selina’s father’s name was VK Jaitley and he served as a colonel in the Indian Army. His mother’s name was Meeta and she was also a doctor in the army.

Apart from parents, Celina has a younger brother Vikrant who is also defending the country in the Indian Army. Selina has studied in a top institute and herself wanted to join the army and serve the country like her parents. But his fate had something else in store for him.

Celina Jaitley’s Life After Graduation: After college graduation, Celina worked as a marketing executive in a mobile phone company in Kolkata. Celina participated in Femina Miss India and became the winner of Femina Miss India 2001. After that, Selena also participated in the Miss Universe pageant and became the fourth runner-up. After this, Selena started her career in modeling and also starred in some music videos with Jazzy B and Bombay Vikings. Celina Jaitley’s big break in Bollywood and her career: Actor-director-producer Feroze Khan discovered Celina and launched her in the action thriller Janasheen (2003) alongside her son Fardeen. Although the film did not do well at the box office, Selina caught the attention of filmmakers. After that, Celina acted in Khel (2003) and Silsil (2005) opposite Sunny Deol but both the films were flops.

After three consecutive flops, Selena got her first big hit in 2005 with the popular laugh-out-loud No Entry. Selina was paired with Janshin’s co-star Fardeen in the film. The film became the highest grossing film of the year. After the success of No Entry, Celina thought she would get bigger and better roles but Celina was cast as an actress in mass films like Zinda, Tom Dick and Harry, Jawaani Deewani and Apna Sapna Money Money (all released in 2006). Celina also did a cameo role in Golmaal Again (2008). Let us tell you that Selina has also acted in Telugu Madhulatha and Kannada Srimathi.

Selina Jaitley left films for marriage? While Selina was busy doing cameos, she met Austrian businessman Peter Hague. Both got married in 2011.

After the marriage, Selina almost gave up films and settled in Dubai with Peter. Twin sons Winston and Viraj were born in March 2012.

In 2017, Selena was pregnant again with twins and she was very happy about it. But after the death of his father in 2017, he got a big shock. Selena was in her third trimester when she got the news and flew to India to attend her father’s funeral. A few months after her father’s death, Selena gave birth to another set of twins. One of their newborns was born with a heart problem and was kept in an incubator for three months. Unfortunately, doctors could not save the child. Selena also lost her mother to cancer in 2018. The loss affected Selina and she struggled with severe depression for five years.

For the sake of her family and children, Selina decided to move on with her life. After recovering from depression, Selena returned to the screen as it was her mother’s last wish. Selena was last seen in ZEE5’s short film Season’s Greetings (2021).
