Karanveer Bohra is a popular star of small screen. He has a good fan following. The actor, currently seen in ‘Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum’, has worked in many popular TV shows over the years. He also acted in a few Bollywood films but it was television that made him a star. Now in a latest interview with Hindustan Times, Karanveer revealed that he called Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone for a special reason.
Karanveer Bohra sent a message to Deepika Padukone
Karanveer messaged Deepika Padukone to express her interest in Ranveer Singh’s Don 3. He said, “When I came to know that Ranveer Singh is doing Don 3, I was really excited to play the villain opposite him but I don’t know Farhan Akhtar or anyone in his production house. So suddenly I messaged Deepika Padukone. I thought let’s try our luck because anything can happen anytime. Deepika and I know each other but we don’t meet. So I messaged him and expressed interest in being a part of the film. To this the actress replied, “I can’t help you like that, but I can tell you the name of the person who is casting to make the banner.”
Karanveer had that person’s number. That is why they sent him that if there is any role he should consider it. Karanveer also said that it is not always the case that he asks for work from others. “I express my desire to work with some people on some projects but don’t sound humble and desperate. I ask them to keep me in mind.”
Karanveer Bohra does not like to ask for work from others
While Karan has been busy with several projects this year, last year was a little rough for him career-wise. He said, “Work is like that. Sometimes it’s good times. Sometimes it’s bad and last year was one of those times. But it doesn’t matter. I’m very clear that I don’t ask people. “I’m not. Going to give me a job. When the time comes, they will select me based on my performance.”
