Meanwhile, BJP has accused Mamata Banerjee of oppressing minorities for profit. BJP MLA and Leader of Opposition in Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari criticized the ‘so-called secular party’ in power in the state. “In a state ruled by a so-called secular party, minority communities are thus suppressed for benefits,” he said.
