Meena Kumari was married, so Raj Kumar could never express his feelings to her. Later, Raj Kumar married Jennifer, an air hostess who was Anglo-Indian. Jennifer changed her name to Gayatri after marriage. Raj Kumar and Gayatri remained together throughout their lives. They have three children, whose names are Puru Raj Kumar, Panini Raj Kumar and Vaknya Pandit. Raj Kumar died of throat cancer on 3 July 1996 at the age of 69. (Photo credits: [email protected])
