Kanpur: For the first time in the state, UP T-20 League on the lines of IPL is being organized at Green Park from August 30. In the UP T20 League, spectators will get free samosas and cold drinks along with a ticket worth Rs 100. Tickets for UP T20 League are available over the counter and online. A total of 33 matches will be played at Green Park. At the same time, Bollywood actor Karthik Aryan will also entertain the audience with his dance in the opening ceremony.
All six teams will start practice from August 25 i.e. Friday for the first ever UP T20 League to be held at Greenpark. Kanpur Superstars has been captained by former Ranji captain and city fast bowler Ankit Rajput. Arvind Kapoor has been entrusted with the responsibility of Kanpur team director. At the same time, Kapil Dev Pandey will continue as the team’s batting coach. He is also the coach of Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav.
33 matches will be played in the league
A total of 33 matches will be played in the UP T20 League. The final match will be held on September 16. A ticket of 100 rupees has been fixed for the spectators. In which school children will be able to watch the match for free. They have to bring their ID card with them for entry.
Kindly inform that the UP League will be organized in a grand manner. Rakesh Shukla of the event management company of the tournament said that full consent has been given for the tournament to be held at Greenpark. After which the preparations have started quickly. The inauguration ceremony will be held here on August 30 from 5:30 pm. Bollywood actor Karthik Aryan will perform his dance in the opening ceremony.
