UPSSSC PET 2023 Date: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has declared the date of Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2023). UP PET Exam will be conducted on 28 and 29 October 2023. UPSSSC has said that regarding issuance of PET admit card, candidates will be informed later through website upsssc.gov.in at appropriate time. Let us tell you that it is mandatory to take this exam to participate in the recruitment of Group C posts in various departments of UP Government. PET 2022 score is valid till January 24, 2024. Till this period the advertisement issued by the commission for recruitment will be valid. After this, those who are in PET-2023 will be considered eligible. This will also be valid for one year.
Exam Pattern
– The qualifying examination will be of 100 marks and of two hours duration. This has a provision for negative marking. One quarter mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
– Main Examination, Skill Test or Physical Test will be conducted for shortlisted candidates on the basis of PET score as per the specific requirements of various departments and provisions of service rules.
PET is required for these posts
UP ANM Mandi Parishad Joint Cadre, Revenue Accountant Posts, Assistant Boring Technician, ITI Instructor, Joint Technical Service, Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard, Gram Panchayat Officer, X-ray Technician, Agricultural Assistant, Junior Assistant in Revenue Department, Accountant and Auditor, Sherd. For recruitment to the posts of surveyor etc. in the department one has to appear in PET first. PET is mandatory for recruitment to these posts.
