New Delhi:
NDTV organized a special conclave ahead of next month’s G-20 meeting in New Delhi. In which an attempt was made to find out what the G20 meeting means for India. British High Commissioner Alex Ellis, who attended the conclave, shared his love for Indian cuisine and even sang the song ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge..’ from the Hindi film Sholay.

After this, Alexander Ellis also sang the song ‘Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge’ from Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra’s superhit film Sholay.

The UK ambassador to India also said, “What could be more important than our Prime Minister saying ‘Jai Shri Ram’ on August 15?”

He said, “India’s interests are long-term. The invasion of Ukraine shows how conflicted we are in the world. India will remain a very central country in the world and we have to find a way to deal with Russia.”
