When Amitabh took a stand for KK Menon, advised the director, then did a memorable scene.

Mumbai. KK Menon recently talked about working with Amitabh Bachchan in director Ram Gopal Varma’s film ‘Sarkar’. KK Man also revealed how Big B tried to bring him into the limelight. KK talks about the dining table scene in the film where Amitabh Bachchan’s character confronts his character. A scuffle ensues between the father-son duo and Keke throws his plate and storms out. KK said that he improvised in this scene and Ram Gopal Varma also approved it.

KK Man revealed in an interview to TheLlantop that he came back to his room and was having lunch when the assistant came and said that Ram Gopal Varma was calling him back. He was wondering why RGV was calling him again. Ram Gopal Varma told him that Amitabh Bachchan has given a suggestion for your benefit.

Amitabh Bachchan suggested placing a camera behind him, so that close-ups of KK Menon’s intense scenes could be captured. Amitabh told RGV that he should catch KK Menon’s performance as well. Then RGV decided to reshoot that scene. Due to which Menon’s performance could be seen clearly on the screen.

KK Man also praised Amitabh Bachchan. He said that Big just rehearses like a newcomer. He described Big B as an aspiring artist and an inspiration to the upcoming generation. He also said that Big B deserves the position he is in today. ‘Sarkar’ also featured Abhishek Bachchan, Supriya Pathak, Katrina Kaif and Tanisha Mukherjee in lead roles.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. He will also be seen in the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Intern’ alongside Deepika Padukone.
