When Dulquer Salmaan was ignored on the sets of the film, Mammootty’s son came up with a solution, even the producers were shocked.

New Delhi. Dulquer Salmaan is a well-known name of South cinema. Dulquer Salmaan, son of Malayalam superstar Mammootty, has created a distinct identity for himself in the film world, which is different from his father’s name. Dulquer is busy making his mark in Malayalam film industry as well as in Bollywood. He was seen in the film ‘Karawan’ with Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. Apart from this, he has also worked with Sonam Kapoor in ‘The Zoya Factor’.

Recently, in an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Dulquer Salmaan shared several stories reminiscing about his early days in the film industry. You may be surprised to know that despite being Mammootty’s son, he was overlooked on the sets. In his interview, the actor says that despite being the hero of the film, he was often sidelined.

He says, “There was a time when I was often overlooked on the sets. I was wondering why this was happening to me even though I was the hero of the film. Then I thought now is the time to get my luxury car.

‘There is no respect in the film industry’ –
Talking more about this, the actor says that image building is very important in the film industry. People don’t respect you at all if you don’t build your image right from the start of your career. “I just wanted respect as a common man,” he says.

Worked in many language films-
The ‘Seetha Ramm’ actor says that from the day he started going to the sets in his big luxury car, people started feeling that a big actor had arrived. After that, the behavior of everyone present on the set towards the actor completely changed. Dulquer Salmaan has spread his magic in many language films. He is active in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films.
