Win against Nepal, but Babar made a statement about India, know what he said

New Delhi. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam on Wednesday said a massive 238-run win over Nepal in the Asia Cup opener will give his team confidence ahead of their much-anticipated clash against arch-rivals India on Saturday. Pakistan got off to a winning start in their Group A match in the Asia Cup by defeating weak Nepal by a huge margin of 238 runs. Pakistan will now travel to Sri Lanka for the match against India to be played in Pallekele.

“This match was a good preparation for the match against India as it gave us confidence,” Babar said after the match. We want to give 100 per cent in every match, hope to do that there as well.” Babar scored 151, his 19th ODI century. Iftikhar Ahmed (109 not out) scored his maiden ODI century and Pakistan were 342 for six after batting first. Runs were scored.

In reply, Nepal’s entire team was bowled out for 104 runs in 23.4 overs. Babar said, “I wanted to test some balls when I came to the crease. The ball was not coming at the same speed to the batsman. I partnered with Rizwan and it had a big impact on the match. Both Rizwan and I encourage each other.

He said, “Things changed after Iftikhar came. He batted very well. After hitting two-three fours, he got into a rhythm.’ Babar said, ‘I am satisfied with this performance. Fast bowlers and spinners did their job well.
