Gagan Dev Riyar is currently enjoying the success of his latest web series ‘Scam 2003’. The actor has impressed people with his performance as Abdul Karim Telgi in Hansal Mehta’s series. Recently, the actor spoke openly about his struggling days and recalled how he used to take up odd jobs to meet his expenses.

Recently, in a conversation with Times Now, Gagan Dev Riyar spoke about his journey from a theater actor to the lead role in Hansal Mehta’s Scandal 2003. He said, “I think the hardest part was in the early 2000s when I didn’t have money to do theater and I started doing odd jobs to support my household. I started writing for Balaji Telefilms. I started writing songs for TV shows. Sometimes worked at McDonald’s, sometimes worked in marketing… but never left the theater.
He said, “Whenever I got a show, I heard thunderous applause at the end of the show and I have done well as an actor. I have never been away from the theater to hear and feel this. He inspired me every day. What I love is acting. I’m glad I didn’t give up and thank God I’m getting love for it.”
She also talked about working with Hansal Mehta in the lead role in Fraud 2003 and said, “I hope everything works out for me, I mean every day you get to be part of a biopic and play a real character. I got a call. Sonchiriya and After seeing my previous work and I think when he got the script he wanted me to be a part of it. He asked Mukesh Chhabra to audition me and as I was leaving it happened so quickly that I was coming out and he Was entering his office and he pulled his car aside and gave me a thumbs up which means I got it. Within half an hour I got it. Hansal sir called and told me you got it and I was on. Way. It took me time to digest the news. When I was going to meet Hansal sir for the first time, he was very surreal and nervous but he is a lovely person.”
